LTVP TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ISSUE

Hi guys, good day to all.

I’m seeking some advice and help if any of you guys have any experice of the LTVP process.

My husband and I have got our LTVP approved in-principle last week, and ICA required us to fill out the Terms and Conditions of Issue form. We submitted the form online the next day.

Do you know how long it takes for the next steps? And what are the next steps though?

Thanks so much for your time. We’ve been quite nervous as it has taken us a week since we submitted the form and still haven’t heard any news from ICA yet.

All these people have been waiting for a while for the LTVP application to be approved which seems to be the norm recently. The website does say it can take 6 weeks to 6 months.

I know someone waited a total of 4 weeks this year. Just be patient.

I have submitted my LTVP renewal since 2nd Dec probably too early since mine will expire 16 April. More documents were requested on 20 Feb which was submitted the same day but until today, it is still receiving attention 😅. Have faith in ICA, they must be quite busy this year.

Hey thanks for writing in and sharing your experience with me. It seems to be what’s going on with most of applications recently, just like what MOCHS has mentioned above. Thanks SBK!

You guys can laugh out loud to my face, as I actually made a mistake in the T&C of Issue. Instead of putting down my residential address, I went and wrote down my email address. How silly I was!😭

Do you think ICA would reject my application due to that wrong indication even though they already gave me the approval-in-principle?

Any insights guys?😮💨

This really adds up a lot to my worries, and I guess that’s why this topic was created🥸

No

Since you are under LTVP, ICA will update your address in the system and am sure u have already provided your address during the initial application stage but God forbid they interpret it as u are trying to dodge providing your local address as u won’t be staying at the same location with your sponsor which in turn screams sham marriage.

If I were you, I will not take any chance and would correct the mistake and send in a copy of the term and conditions to ICA via email [email protected] Or at least write in and provide your local address and say it was a mistake.

Make sure to provide all this information in the email:
1. Applicant’s Full Name;
2. Applicant’s Date of Birth;
3. Applicant’s Passport Number;
4. Applicant’s DE Number (if any);
5. Applicant’s FIN (if any);
6. Application Reference Number (if any);
7. Your contact number.

Hi guys, my husband and I have made an appointment to collect the LTVP card. Just wondering if we’re only able to know how long it’s valid for on the day of collection?

As we don’t see any validity is indicated on the IPA letter. Any thoughts guys?

All in all, glad I have some updates for y’all and so much appreciate all the viewpoints and experience that have been shared with me and my husband along the way. (Big thanks to MOCHS, SBK and Malcontent - your responses mean a lot).

Have a great weekend!

Probably 1 year. Seems pretty normal for that to be the case.

You won’t know until you collect the card at the counter and the ICA officer tells you how long it’s valid for.

If you’re married less than a year, usually 1 year validity. If married for more than 3 years, maybe it’s LTVP+ with 3 years validity but not 100% guaranteed.

Most of the time, if it’s your first time getting LTVP, it’s 1 year validity.

Oh great to know about it. Thanks for sharing, guys! The only way to know about the validity is when we go collect the card.

Anyways the available slots seem to run out fast.
