Hi, not sure if anyone has any information. Whats the earliest we can get the white slip or be recorded as an SC after getting IPA? My wife just got the IPA yesterday and we are actually planning to purchase a resale hdb unit, but the seller wants it done by mid-May. Im not sure if we can try to meet his timeline or not to put up the option to purchase as a citizen or just give up this unit altogether. According to our agent, we can start as long as singpass shows citizenship. But the main issue would be renunciation of my wife's Indonesian citizenship. Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process?

you can search for the forum around here, according to one guy he completed his citizenship journey within 2 weeks.

i suppose its highly depends on whether your wife can complete both stages (also your embassy, etc).

For me, the letter from the embassy that indicates that I have applied to renounce my original citizenship is enough to complete the final stage of swearing the oath of allegiance. You just need to make sure to submit the final renunciation letter when it's ready from the embassy.
