Advice on citizenship - considerations

Would like to seek advice on the impacts or considerations for Sg citizenship, given that:
1. Msian PR couple (wife is dependent PR. Note: NOT dependent pass)
2. In future, wife may have to inherit property in Msia
3. Considering to buy resale HDB soon after 3 yrs of PR or after 1 person converted to Sg citizen
Considerations:
1. If 1 person convert to Citizen, am aware that there is a chance that the gov may ask the other to convert as well. Any difference on whether the wife or husband convert to citizen? Would like to keep 1 Msian citizenship, ideally husband remain Msian
2. Aware about HDB & foreign property ownership rule - but after resale HDB MOP period of 5 years, should be no issue to own foreign property right? What about any factors on Msia side - if wife convert to Sg citizen, to own the property via name transfer or inheritance, is there any limitation that you've heard of?
