What to do with a loud snoring husband?

I have been married with my husband for just a month and been living together with him for 5 mos. Initially, when we first move in together I already talk to him about his loud snoring issue and his teeth grinding because I really cannot sleep well and most of the time I wake up 4-5 times because of his snoring and teeth grinding. And not having enough sleep really drains my energy the day specially now Im
pregnant with our kid. To temporarily resolve this issue I always sleep at the couch even though this has been very uncomfortable with me since now im pregnant. and sometimes we fight in the middle of the night because i wake him up to stop him from snoring. he is a great guy without snoring and teeth grinding. now im thinking of kicking him out of the house since we dont have spare rooms which he can sleep in. I want to have my sleep back for the sake of this baby thats is growing inside me. hopefully can someone give me advise. thanks in advance

1. His teeth grinding issue will damage his teeth. See if he can have a dentist make a mouth guard to prevent damage (it also quietens the sound).
2. It sounds like he has sinusoidal issues if the snoring is so bad (and possibly sleep apnea). See if an ENT can help.
3. Finally I have had a friend recommend the new apple ear buds - they have noise cancelling and he wears them all night to help sleep in a noisy room.

Keeping the AirPods in all night can be really uncomfortable and irritate the ear canal. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Have you tried the anti-snoring nose strips? They have mixed reviews but they’re really cheap so its worth a shot. Can get them at any pharmacy.

Check out a CPAP machine. People who snore loudly often have other breathing problems as well, in particular, sleep apnea. And buy a mouthguard to stop the teeth grinding... like this one...

My wife just kicks me when I snore.. it never wakes me up, but she said it usually works.

Right but if the issue is the noise, a CPAP will be no better. My grandma used to sleep with one before she passed, it was pretty loud, could even hear it from another room.

I have memories of sleeping over at my aunt’s house when I was younger, she always snored like a train, was the heaviest sleeper I’ve ever known. I would always either kick her or smack the bed, she’d stop for about half a minute but never wake up. So even that is an ineffective fix.

I would think ear buds for you or mouth guard for the your husband.

Mouth guards won’t do anything about the snoring, just the teeth grinding. Frankly the best idea would be to sleep separately, do what you want at night then when it’s time to go to bed just sleep in separate rooms.

See an ENT Specialist. First consult, including a quick nasal/throat examination will set you back $300+. A sleep study, will set you back about $1000?
You want to know whether there is sleep apnea, first. Second whether the snoring can be
improved through surgery.
If these are not "options", then weight loss for hubby might improve the snoring.
Sleeping on side, rather than back to keep airways open.
Nasal strips are rubbish, don't waste your money on these.
Last option, go Japanese style. Wife sleep with kids in separate room.

My wife snores loud, but there are some really good ear plugs available now. I wear similar to these ear plugs each night and now really hear her.

Great. I find it very difficult to use the noise cancellation feature if I’m not playing music as it sort of feels like there’s a vacuum in my ear. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but it’s incredibly uncomfortable for me.
