LTVP for parents

I am on EP and applied LTVP for my parents, my dad was approved the next day but my mom status is pending. Their STVP runs out this weekend.
Has anyone been through this where only one dependent was approved? Salary is significantly above the threshold. Employer has called MOM to expedite.
Also separately is their way to extend STVP beyond 90 days?
