Attachments in pdf format allowed in this Forum?

I tried but had to revert to jpg

No. Only image files. However, you can attach a link to a pdf doc in Dropbox and share the link on message but then it means anybody can access that file (if it's the only one shared-the rest of Dropbox not accessable). Then they could follow the link to download the PDF.
