PR - Dependents Question

Hello,
I'm on an EP in Singapore and wish to apply for PR. However, my dependents, wife and children are not with me in the country, while they do visit, they are not on dependent visas. (they visit for a week every quarter).
I'd like to go and ahead and apply for a PR and include them on my application. Will they need to be on dependent visas in order to include them on my application?
Thank you

Technically your wife and children dont have to be here in dependent pass to include them in your PR application if you are the main applicant. I hope other forum members can confirm this.
But before applying, i would suggest you to think why would SG give your whole family PR when you are the only one in SG. Though you have not mentioned much about you, i would guess you may be from India or a caucasian working in SG for a few years. Unless you are a preferred race i dont think your application can stand a chance, even if you happen to make a few hundred thousand per year. SG always wants family who reside here to be considered for PR. Anyway this is just my opinion, its up to you to decide.

If you are malaysian chinese then it may become favourable, but still there can be a small chance you may not get it this time as your family is not even here. Anyway, i am no one to give opinion. You can try applying.
