What's the most effective way to search for a place to live in Singapore?

Got mine thru this site.. I've tried numerous agents but they didn't work me as they were taking me to places which were way beyond my budget. And they were taking me to locations way off my office. My friend surfed through the site and recommended me to this. Its best to have one agent who knows wat you want than 10 agents who can't figure out your exact needs..my 2 cents worth. 8)
