how does this forum majorly work? I think most people only know Reddit but there's a karma limit there.

and then somehow the first thing I see there and here also is a post about a livestream.
does this forum need any karma or requirements also?

No karma system like reddit here only number of posts.

The more posts you have, the higher the rank in your profile. Senior members are well respected here due to their contribution to the forum.
