I wanted to ask about PR application chances. I've heard that having local university graduation is seen very positively. Would like to ask y'all about the chance for me, thanks in advance!

Qualification: NUS Comp Science undergraduate (Bachelor of Computing)
Career: SWE
Monthly base salary: 7k
Years in SG: 5.5
Years of experience: ~1.5
Race & nationality: Indian

You should 100% apply and it's almost guaranteed that you'll get it. I'm a batch of 2020 undergrad from NUS as well and I got my PR around 1 year after graduating. I applied with 6 months of work experience. My profile was pretty much the same as yours: Indian, undergrad from NUS.

There's a very small number of foreign undergrads and almost everyone I know from the batch of 2020/2021 have already received their PR's. Factor in around 6-12 months for the approval. All the best!

You forget 2020 was the exodus of many foreigners from SG which could be why it “seems easier” to get PR then.

I would say chances are low due to marital status and racial quota. Apply after two income tax assessments and get married, preferably to a local.
