PR Approval Chances

Hi!

Just want to check with you if me & my husband got any chance with our PR application? We applied last 1 March 2023 and was rejected after 4 mos. We are planning to apply again on Jan/Feb'24 (6mos after the rejected result).

Below is our profile:
I am the main applicant and I included my husband in my application. He is also working here in SG.

My Profile:
Age: 25y/o
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology (State University in Philippines)
Job: Public Relations Officer (A1 Local Construction Company) - same company since Nov 2019
Salary: $3100/mo
Marital Status: Married with 1 daughter (6mos old during application)
Pass Type: Spass
Length of Stay in SG: 4 years
Race: Filipino

Husband Profile:
Age: 32y/o
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (State University in Philippines)
Job: Site Engineer (Local Sub-Contractor in Construction Company) - working with this company since July 2023 but have been working in Sg since June 2022.
Salary:$4200
Marital Status: Married
Pass Type: Spass
Length of Stay in SG: 1year and 6mos
Race: Filipino

Child is currently here in SG for almost 3mos already under STVP. Child also done the vaccines and check-ups here. Hospitalized twice at KKH and currently following up the check-ups and testings/scans at KKH too. Have bought health insurance with AIA SG. (I don't know if this can add up on the chances hehe).

Looking to stay here in Singapore for good if will be given chance to be PR.

From what i've read at this forum, here's what i can see:

Cons: Race, Salary, length of stay, line of work, type of pass
Pros: Nil

Don’t even waste time & money re-applying if there are absolutely no changes to occupation & salary, and lack of EP.

Donation, volunteering, insurance policies and investments have ZERO value to PR application so no need to bother with those.

Re-apply when either of you get EP and have substantial increase in salary. But even then, chances are still low as you’re in “Others” race where it’s the biggest number of applicants for the smallest quota.

i concur this.. just prepare for plan b like australia, canada or new zealand..

Agree. Most importantly, there has been no change since the last application so chances of the result changing are close to zero.

Always wise to have a Plan B. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

This is a smart move, and personally, I believe if you do have children, they will be much happier there.
