Now the insurance company after a few months comes back and tell me they have no records of me as a customer and therefore no refunds can be issued. So the massage company has decided to discard all customers records in order not make any repayments. Be very very careful. These companies work like scams. Make you sign up and when they decide to close overnight, you'll be left very shocked with un-used packages.

Anyone remembers California Fitness?

More recently it happened with the UFC gym franchise. For gym memberships, I think your safest bet are the ActiveSG gyms which are gahment-linked. Next would be something like Anytime Fitness which has a franchised gyms all over the place and you are only locked into a membership for 3 months.

All those other slimming/facial/massage packages? Do so at your own risk.

After California Fitness, I signed up with Anytime Fitness and made sure to be on a monthly payment schedule so I'm not paying upfront for an extended period.

And the stupid massage shop closed and now opens a beauty salon in Holland Village...shucks, how do they ever get pass it

Think they can get different people to be the registered owner, but the true owner is never shown
