renting or leasing a car?

How much should we expect to spend on leasing a car in Singapore?
As we have young children, I am sure we would want the typical 7 or 8 seater for a family. Any ideas?

8-seater could be in the range of $80 per day or more.

I looked into getting an Honda Odyssei (7-seater MPV) for two years and the average monthly lease comes out close to $2,350/mo. So, yes, it's roughly the same. If you are going to keep the car for longer than 2 years, then it's more economical to buy the car on a long-term loan (i.e. 7 years) as long as you don't mind the hassle of selling the car later.
