Hello Everyone,
Reading a lot of cases on this forum and thought I might post my own. Please help me assess my profile and give pointers.

Nationality: Indian
Place of Birth: India
Race: Indian
Gender: Male
Age: 24 Years Old
Marital Status: Single
Salary: 5k SGD per month fixed

Pass: Employment pass application recently approved so currently on IPA

Work: I am about to start my first job at NTU as a R&D Manager. (Note:I am being granted a 5 year EP)
Additionally, the job is contractual for a year but mostly extendable although I will shift to industry once I get enough experience. The job is about research in field of Semiconductors

Education: Undergrad(in Materials Science) from IIT Jammu(A good Indian Uni)(July 2019 - July 2024)
and Master's(in Materials Science) from NTU (August 2023 - December 2024)

Stay in Singapore: It has been one year and five months (as in Jan 2025).

My questions are what do I need to do to improve my profile to maximise my chances of getting a PR. I have learnt from my friends that doing community service helps(One friend even went ahead and said, "Do it in a constituency where govt. is ruling." I am not too sure about that) but this forum says otherwise. I have no plans of marrying for at least 5 years, I am just going to focus on my career. That being said I am consistently looking for jobs that pay well once I have enough experience.

I can appreciate whatever advice anyone can spare. 🙏🏻 If you can be comprehensive that would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Correction: Undergrad(in Materials Science) from IIT Jammu (July 2019- July "2023")

Eagerly waiting for your assessment.

No benefit of doing social work for enhancing your PR chances. Apparently you are about 20 years late.... Indians have already abused that route.
