Advice Required

I've recently been made an offer on a role in Singapore and looking to relocate from the UK. Im hoping to get some advice from people already living there about the best area to rent an apartment. Im looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle but with lots of green space close by so I can go running. Im going to be using public transport so access to the MRT is essential. Ideally there would be a good size strength training gym in close proximity. Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Holland, Bukit Timah, Harbourfront are some good areas with green space and mrt access. There are gyms close by as well, otherwise can use mrt to get to the gyms. Our mrt are pretty well connected nowadays getting anywhere is easy.

There are many areas that fit your criteria, but I would say East Coast is the area of choice for expats who want a more laid back area and an active lifestyle.

That said, some level of hustle and bustle is almost inescapable unless you go rent a bungalow in an ultra-premium or far flung area of the island.
