I’m looking for a simple and practical skincare routine that doesn’t involve too many products. There’s a lot of information out there, and it can get confusing for beginners. I’d like to know which basic steps actually work for most people and give good results over time.

I just rinse my face with water once a day in the shower. Been doing that since Saturday bath night as a child, back when toe jam was a thing. I can’t use soap because my skin is too dry.

Skincare can be overwhelming, so keeping it simple is key. A helpful habit is using cold water or ice on your face daily to wake up your skin and tighten pores. A straightforward routine includes gentle cleanser (morning and night), moisturizer for hydration and a sunscreen during the day.
Consistency with these basics can lead to healthy skin without a complicated routine. Simple daily habits are effective.
