Hi everyone,

I’m planning to explore the Jurong area in Singapore and wanted to get some recommendations from locals and frequent visitors.

I’ve heard that places like Jurong East and Jurong West have developed a lot over the years with malls, parks, and food spots, but I’m not very familiar with what’s actually worth visiting.

A few things I’m curious about:

Best food spots (local, Japanese, Korean, etc.)
Good malls or shopping areas
Any hidden gems or underrated places
Things to do for a casual day out

I did find some general info online, but I’d really prefer real opinions and suggestions from people who’ve been there.

We often brought guests to Singapore who visited our office in Jurong out to Raffles Marina to eat at the Marina Bistro. The food is decent (I usually got the fish & chips), but the ambience is excellent, with a view of the sea, the boats and the bridge.
