Are some shopping malls or retail shops pretty dead like metro closing all its stores.. Has the shopping landscape changed over the years? .. I personally buy half my purchases online because of convenience and price.

I’m actually a fan of the older dead malls.

United Square used to be wonderfully peaceful until they renovated and rebranded with an education focus. Since then it’s hard to even walk through the place.

Marina Square was another favorite, bigger and more spacious than newer ones… but I haven’t been there in a while.

In my opinion, malls will always exist — it’s the only way to try things on, and there’s the instant gratification of buying something on the spot.
