I admit it is to me, quite befuddling
The last that we spoke
you thought me a joke,
How on earth did it come to this muddling?

In truth, you know you intrigue me
And in cuddling right now, I am needy
But we haven't yet met
My last dollar I'd bet
That the outcome could get quite seedy.

What do you propose, fair sir?
Now that I have undubbed you a cur?
To interact a little more
On not so distant shores?
Or leave it to fantasy, as it were?
