Internet Radio

I am contemplating signing up for internet radio for professional use in one of my businesses as background music. Does anyone have any recommendations for what would be a high quality service that doesn't either hang or get stuck ? Its no point doing it if there will be either of these issues.
Any recommendations ? Does anyone else do this ?

I listen to Radio 1 in work over the 'net (
www.bbc.co.uk/radio1) not sure whether it's commercially available though. You'd probably be better off with digital radio but not sure if that's caught on here yet?

There are quite a number of online radio stations. Just trawl the internet and listen to the ones you like.
Can't find any Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese/Korean stations though...

Both Windows Media Player and iTunes(on PC and Mac) come with a categorized array of radio stations. try them.

There are also specialist DJ's that can pipe music to your door, to suit the atmosphere day and night, Not sure if they are in Singaore yet. But it is a fantastic idea, they also pump music to fashion outlets. but first they do an evaluation of your business. The idea is to create more business not scare them away!!

I think you would be much better off, if you did your own online music, I'm sure you can find some kind of online juke box, You select the music to your needs, and pipe it straight home.
I have a DJ friend in Denmark doing this for a living! to increase customers for a better shopping experience.
