YOU SHOULD JUST TELL THEM OFF. that's what I would do, in fact, that's what I've done. They should really know the truth then the rumours. As you can see, Singaporeans are very KPO. everything they know, but actually they don't.

Oh my! Frankly, it's none of their damn business who's living with you! Yeah, you should tell them off! Generally, if you have good relationships with your neighbours, you tell them something like, "my husband is moving out, we've having problems...My dad is coming to visit me for a while etc." If you don't offer any more info, it's rude for them to pry further, but what can I say...they must be too bored.

who cares what the neighbours have to say right....if they are indeed KPO let the suspense kill them...

Don't let out a word.. you'll have the last laugh..

Cheer up sweetie.. :)

Perhaps.. I'll get the mad chinaman whose been midnight shopping on all our neighbours belongings left outside the house to do that in your estate.. and that will give the neighbours something else to talk about and leave you alone...

hmmm what a thought!

If you find them really disturbing which is indeed then u can stick
a "report" outside your hs to keep those "concerned" update on something that they think they know but unknown to them. I have disturbing neighbour too, she love peeping at our house and even told us that she knows when a guest comes. She even gossiped about my bf coming to my hs although it was known to my parents. Well theres nothing you can do a thing about it but to allow the lastest hit around your town to die down as time goes by.God bless u :)
