Hi,
I am observing the posts in forum that AC plays a significant role in a house and its maintainance too. I am coming to singapore from India,
so wanted to know what kind of weather is there hot/rainy/moderate/humid?

Weather is exactly like Bombay, hot and humid, gets a little cooler from October up until Feb. By little, I really mean little. You will be better off with an airconditioned house, however, fans with windows open should work too.

You can look at

It gives you current weather.
You can watch it everyday, it will not change much!

The "coldest" day I can remember from 6 years Singapore is back in december 2001, when there was a 2 day storm, torrential rain and a temperature of only 24 degrees celsius, I was freezing here
The hottest should be around 38 degrees celsius, couple of months ago.

no shit! i remember December 2001 in Bombay was cold too! very strange for Bombay.

The minimum extreme temperature was as posted by wat at 19.4 degrees and the maximum extreme was 35.8 degrees which is a far cry from 38 degrees.
That said, it was 117 degrees (47 degrees C) in Las Vegas yesterday!

My 38 was shown on the temperature display in my car sms.
Seems it is not reliable, I better look for another car then.
