TO START BUSINESS (TRAVEL?) IN SINGAPORE...

Thinking of a possibility of starting some business in Singapore with own funds.
The first thing that comes to my mind is travel. Oh, yeah, with all that plenty of travel agents in the place. But any sector might be still interesting, should the people involved have enough motivation. Right?

Anyway, are there any comments and/or ideas as to the subject? Or possibly other directions of thinking on it?
Thanks

You are aware that to register your company under the Travel Agent License, you will need a paid-up capital of at least S$100,000? It's very high cost, and super competitive.

If you really like travel, suggest you go for specialised travel e.g. golf travel, adventure travel, spa travel, eco-travel etc. We have noticed that nowadays people are so bored with normal travelling, they embrace any new-age forms of travelling whole heartedly

Good luck!

Ideas?
