This is so frustrating! So many rules and restraints!
Financial support is restricted to the fact that it's 100% own by foreigner. Must I really have a Singaporean partner that holds at least 30% shares?
to get things running?
Would appreciate if there's other have ways to go around dealing with this issue.
Have a nice day!

No. You do not need 30% holding from a local resident. However, you need a local resident director to operate a private limited company. If you want to know more about starting a company, email to

Are you kidding me? This is one of the easiest place to "START" a biz, sustaining it of course is another issue.

You are right. Starting up a business is easy in Singapore. You can do most if not all the initial applications online. There is not really too much red tape from the authorities and you should be all set in a week's time. After that it is up to you how successfully you run the business.

You could try getting a nominee director. And with you as non-resident director you will be in full control with all aspects of the company.
