Help Wanted-Going to a Muslim wedding-Do's and Don't Do's

Hi, Anyone have reliable (1st hand?) experience of attending a Muslim wedding, and care to share their thoughts/recommendations on what to do/say/wear/bring?
I'm attending a friend's wedding and I'd hate to embarass either him or myself.
Thanks in advance.

Just wear decently. Don't need to so glamourous like going for company function. Currently, mostly Muslim wedding is serve in buffet style unless it's dinner where you will be serve. During congratulation, normally you got to hands the bride and groom a token in an envelope. Hope this help.

Do get a green packet from your friends to keep the token in.
Don't dress too formally. Casual smart would be fine. If you are a guy bringing a date, make sure she doesn't wear an evening gown, that might be embarassing.
If you're a lady, a simple casual dress would do.
Do try and mingle around if you get left out.

All, having been to the wedding now, I'm replying to my own post, for the benefit anyone else is in the same position in the future...
- Smart casual is appropriate. Most people were dressed nicely, but not over-the-top. I was probably the only person wearing a tie

, but it's better to be too smart than not smart enough.
- Everyone comes and goes pretty freely. The event went on about 5 hours, but as long as you stay long enough to give your best wishes to the couple, that's fine.
- Give your gift (money is fine, in either green packet or just an envelope inside a nice card) at the end, as you leave. Compare this with Chinese weddings where you give the gift as you arrive.
- Other Malay/Muslim courtesies, as usual.
Good luck.
