I usually try, but always thinks it sounds phoney. I no longer ask people where they live but where they are staying, ask if they have 'taken their lunch' andI don't take people to the airport, I send them (which I always think sounds very impolite!).

Can you ever understand the answer when you ask what a certain dish is in the food court?

I practised what I did in Japan when I couldn't speak Japanese, just be adventurous and point what I thought would be eatable! :lol:

Not only the pictures look better but the portions in the pictures always look so much BIGGER and when they serve it on our plates, it looks pathetically small... :mad:

God yes! I am a champion sleeper. In the winter, when it's cold and dark outside I can go 10 hours easy.

Can you do a cartwheel?
