not me dun guess. kena ur name ez bcos u dun post singlish meh.
aiyoh, SE. first of all your singlish is terrible. secondly, you forgot to post anonymously so now we all know you're deliberately trying to sound like someone else else... naughty!
So, I really am trying to learn Singlish... it's just that there aren't many grammar books around... maybe because there is no grammar? :o

Perhaps all you good singlis speakers might contribute to this thread. For example, as a starter, when to use 'meh', 'ah', 'lah', 'lor'.

And how would you translate, "It wasn't me that guessed. It was easy to tell who you were because you don't speak singlish."

Ok, lah?

Lol, I'd read that post and chuckled at that person's attempt to try and be smart, he missed the point by many a mile!

But this should be interesting. I find Singlish cute, don't mind learning a few words here and there.

ha ha, sapphire, with your observant eye i'm surprised you didn't guess that the 'guest' was me! and you're right, i completely didn't get any point cos i had no clue what SE was trying to say, the singlish was that bad. :P

this is the translation, no hard and fast though, other singlish-speakers may say it differently:

"not me lah. easy to guess you mah, you never talk singlish." :D

Why in the world would you want to speak, read or write that simple-minded language?? To see a westerner speaking or writing like that, you must be very confused??

May I suggest that you do not start a fight with the one and only Sapphire, or if you do, you must answer in complete sentences otherwise she can get a bit peeved. :D
