Who says only kids enjoy Halloween? Come join us for a night of ghoulish food, devilish drinks, and the most entertaining red-carpet event outside of LA! Only available on SingaporeExpats! (batteries not included)

Date: Friday October 28th 2005

Theme: Hollywood! - come dressed as your favorite movie/sitcom/cartoon character. Some examples: Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (good luck finding her outfit!), Uncle Fester from the Addams Family, Homer Simpson, Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) in Face Off, The Goblin King (David Bowie) from The Labyrinth, Oprah, Legolas (Orlando Bloom) from Lord of the Rings......the possibilites are endless! (And simple if you choose to come as Sly Stallone in Tango and Cash).

Location: TBA - we're looking to 'borrow' someone's poolside or front yard. If you think you've got the perfect venue, please PM me!

Menu: Potluck, with a twist. Name your dish and we'll have a little card in front of it, like "Don Corleone's Horsehead Stew" for example, for a meat stew brought by someone dressed as Don Corleone. Or "poisoned apples from Snow white".You could even bring "Cop Shop Doughnuts" if you're a character from NYPD Blue. Best named dish might win a prize (Or get talked about for another year)!

Booze: Bring your own, as I am not the daughter of a wealthy vintner.

Sherlock Holmes Award: goes to the person who correctly guesses the most characters.

Darlings of the Silver Screen: Award for best dressed guest

Well CD, you're quite successful as the invisible man for most WNDC's so I don't see why you can't do the same for this event!

Since there will be a prize for guessing the most characters correctly, try not to reveal your character before the party!
