anyone know why the post boxes were moved to outside theMRT station?..I have accumulated weeks of mail in my bag being too lazy to walk the few steps outside!

I would guess it would have something to do with the war on terrorism...

Yep. No bins, post boxes or any such receptacles...a real pain searching high and low for those elusive post boxes.

Post boxes here in singapore are difficult to spot, they look like those electrical boxes you find near traffic light from behind. Shame they are not big red phallic symbols like back in Blighty :D

All I can say is this is where the 'wheels fall off the cart' in Singapore. Where it all goes pear shaped. Here's an idea: Pick the damn mail up at the mailboxes you deliver it to! I walk around for weeks with mail in my bag because I'm never at the right place at the right time. Why aren't the mailboxes at the post offices made for drive through drop offs? Ghastly.

As Em Eye says; it might have something to do with the war on terrorism.
That is one reason you cannot find any rubbish bins on the London Underground.

You can't find any rubbish bins underwater either.

Coincidence? I think not.
