Singapore Expats

Hello,

I am coming to Singapore in December and planning to look for a job; while job hunting, do you guys have any advice in which area/district I should stay(easy to commute and cheap rent)? I'm not really picky at this moment. Just want to get a feel of it first, then I will definately move to CLOSER/better location, once I find the job. Thanks in advance, appreciated,

But seriuosly Singapore is expensive if you want to stay in a hotel (Even a 'cheap' one here. I suggest you ask some friends or even see if someone here can put you up for a while.
