Thanksgiving Dinner 2005

What is the best place to celebrate Thanksgiving with a good old Fashioned Turkey dinner with all trimmings (Please no answer saying Home, I know that, but an apartment in 32oc Singapore is not the place to be cooking a 15kg Bird)
Any ideas, Does the American club have a dinner open to general public, or any good hotels provide such a dinner.
Still celebrating 2004 Boston Red sox WS win!

don't know about the american club, but they probably do something. last year we went to Dan Ryan's Chicago Grill

It wasn't bad and it beat having to prepare all the food and endure the day-long oven heat.
I want to know where I can get a turkey already cooked to serve at my house. Anyone?

Oh you big silly.
My holiday was fabulous and as of yet -- I'm the only one in our little foursome untouched by Maharaja's revenge.
Loved India, loved it -- the colors, contrasts, history, culture, the people -- all of it. But so glad and grateful to be home to my beautiful home and children.
How can one feel any differently when faced with such poverty and despair?
The coming home part is always the best, n'est-ce pas?

Do they sell already roasted turkeys? I've ordered an uncooked turkey from the Swiss Butcher, but would rather get one cooked. Thanks for any replies.

Yes, they do. With gravy and stuffing too. If I remember corrrectly it's even pre-carved. The skin is lifted off in tact, the slices made and the skin placed back on. Don't think they deliver though and they are out in Woodlands.

If I'm not mistaken, Cold Storage arranges a special pre-cooked Thanksgiving and Christmas menu, and you should be able to order just by walking in to any of their stores and inquiring after it. I'm sure they sell roasted turkeys complete with stuffing and all.
Don't know if its any good, as we've always made our own.
Oooh, all this talk of Thanksgiving....I miss my mom's Sage and Onion stuffing!!!!

Yeap... look out for the flyers they hand out... (Cold Storage, Giant, Sheng Shiong - the few I know)
