Singapore Expats

When a condo is advertised as having say "3000 square feet", is this the floor space inside the front door or does it also include the hall way outside? I believe the later is done in Hong Kong & just want to be sure.

It does not include the space outside the front door, as that space does not belong to the owner of that condo but is considered common property.
However, the 3000 sq ft includes balconies which some may view as "outdoor".

I think they count the wash area and maids room in the square footage as well.

The air-conditioner ledge, planter box are included in the size as well.
