Calling all Westerners

I'm fairly new to Singapore and would like to meet up with other recently arrived Westerners for a few drinks, sport etc.
I have quite a few Singaporean mates but its always nice to chew over western news, cultures with home grown westerners. Hope this doesn’t come across as discriminatory as its not intended to!

Go for WNDC tonight @ Sound Bar! or just do a search and you would find a couple of activities for you...

May be you can also subscribe to SCV and watch BBC and CNN

Sene is local chauvinistic Indian, hate all whites, probably his grandpa was humiliated in India in colonial ages

Linna , i am very sure Sene is joking..I 've known him to be a very nice pleasant person during our coffee session with some of the gals.

Looks like you have some phobia about Indians ... what did they do to you? .... perhaps a rejection may be?

Of course not, you have a right to pick and choose who you want to socialise with. I can totally understand the need to be in the company of people who share the same cultural interest.
In the world that we live today, political correctness has permeated so much into our lives that we have to be so careful about what we say. What a sad state of affair. I think political correctness can sometimes backfire as it creates unnecessary tension for the society.
