Do anyone know why ICA has ask me to resubmit the application in a year's time? What do they mean by I have not met the residential requirements? Your opinion is greatly appreciated... Thanx

How many years have you stayed in singapore..? how much is your salary..? what is your qualification terms of education an employment with the current market ??..

What is the minimum "residential requirements"?

I've done my private survey and it seems for Malaysian Chinese 6 months is sufficient? Was planning to do so in Mar2006, or should I not?

I'm making above 50k and hold a BSc in IT. Might make it?

Well, i was basically here for a total of 7-8 years, as i used to study here in Singapore. I'm applying the PR application under the Spouse scheme as im married to a Singaporean.. But i find it confusing that they ask me to resubmit in a year's time..i'm submitting again in March next year. Do ou think they will grant me by then? I'm so confused..

The working period is normally atleast to complete a years period, file it with ur 6month pay slip and 1st year tax payments.

For indians the majority of approval is considered only after the 2nd year of continuous stay in singapore. but rule'z are so dynamic that without meeting a miniumum req it gets approved or

when you think all the minimal req are statisfied they still reject it..

No, i'm working under S Pass now..I just hope 3 months will pass by very fast..when I applied for PR early this year, it was under my spouse sponsorship, so I was wondering if I should just wait till March 2006, or I submit a new application under S Pass...So confusing ...and I don't wana make a wrong move.

That is the problem, I'm not too sure which part has gone wrong.. I used to attend school in Singapore for around 7-8 years. But when I applied for the PR, i was not working yet. Could that be the reason?

Yes, dear. You need to back it up with employment.

With employment I hope? Friend's friend's success story has employment in the application form
