is there any bank can open a/c for offshore company such as US firm ?

is there any bank can open a/c for visitors ?( no working permit )

I can't honest answer first question, but I would assume no.
In order to open any account here in Singapore you must have your employment pass, not even a letter from employer will do. If I am wrong, someone else will correct me I'm sure.

I know UOB will open an account for someone without a work permit or EP. You will need a letter of introduction from someone who already has an account at the bank, and a local address for statement purposes. Otherwise, it is a piece of cake.

Most any bank that is international (Stan Chart, UOB, Citibank, HSBC, etc) can assist you with offshore accounts. Big exception will be Malaysia due to currency controls.

but looks like there is no transparent info on their site , while hk 's banks have more info , such as HSBC hk.

Sorry, no contacts. For the private account I just walked in, asked what would be needed, then showed up with the man and the documents (including the letter of introduction from my company).

I think you can just call or walk in to a main branch (like UOB on Boat Key) and get the details.
