why buy one when there's a lot need fostering.
you can try going to spca for this, or my favourite place - mettacattery.

Try adopting one through the Cat Welfare Society. Look on their website at
www.catwelfare.org There is an adoption section where the current cats needing homes are shown.
Not only do you get a wonderful cat, you are rescuing them as well.

Don't buy one unless you are sure you can give it all the love attention and interraction it needs and deserves. Are you willing to look after it if it gets sick? pay vet bills? have it desexed and microchipped? What if it has behavioural problems? You can't buy a cute little kitten and when it is moody or scratches someone just dump it in the street- have you seen all the strays? What happens when you go on holidays? Is there someone to look after it? Are you comfortable having a litter tray and emptying it? Pets are not prizes for show or status think carefully about your decision to have one and whether you are willing to make the commitment.

Thank you for your worry, but yes, I'm ready. It'll be my fourth animal. The last had died last year.
