Hi ppl,

jus wan2 confirm or check w anyone who has since gone through till the very last round and was not selected or jus anyone who knows...is it really true tt you cannot try till 3 - 6 mths later after floppin e final round?
can we jus try again since they are in need of ppl now?
don't want to wait so long...

Use your common sense Rinny they do not allow you to retry for at least six months or more otherwise they would be bombarded with applications from people who are and always will be totally unsuitable. Hate me for saying it but you really should do something about using that SMS gibberish you keep using here or anywhere else, if my native language was not English I would not be able to figure out half of what you say. I really wonder if this some way was not a factor in your failure - leave you to think about it.

It's a common point here, and Plavt is absolutely right.

For the OP's query - refer to Plavt's response. Do you think there is a shortage of applicants for these jobs that SIA would have to refer to those that failed previously?

This question and your style of sms-writing makes it fairly clear why you did not get the job.

Im not sure if good english is really an important criteria for being an FA..most of the korean girls and chinese girls i meet during my emirates interview spoke really bad english....and in the end they made it to the next round...

This may well be true but some airlines asign such girls to certain routes (i.e. their native countries). This means you will sometimes find flight attendants designated to the same route permanently. I know for a fact Singapore Airlines asignes native Japanese flight attendants, who are Singapore based, to its Japan services simply because they are familiar with the language and culture. The same would likely be true of Koreans and Chinese as their languages are not commonly spoken outside their respective countries.
