Hi there, My name is Renee' and I just moved here. Before any homesick sets in, I'd really like to make some friends. I enjoy seeing different parts of this country - and also intend to travel on the weekends. So, if you are interested in getting a good balance of touristy stuff and others, and if you'd be interested in some adventures to Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, or anywhere within reason - then let me know.
ALso, if there are any standing activities, I'd love to know those also.
Thanks and I hope to hear from one or many!

The Death Railway Over The River Quay
It's an interesting small town with a BIG history of the second world war in South East Asia.
Don't know if I spell "Quay" correctly

Hi,
It's the bridge over the River Kwai. There was an award winning film made about it in the 60's. I went to Kanchanaburi at the end of 2004 :-
