CGC: Cycling at Palau Ubin - 18th March

Welcome to join 3nd round Cycling. Please let me know on or before 17th March 1200noon. :D :D

Date: 11th March 2006 (Sat) --->Postpone to 18th March (Sat)
Time: 1400-2000
Venue: Palau Ubin
Activity: Cycling + Discovery Palau Ubin + Dinner

Itinerary:
**1400-1410 Meet up at Changi Point FERRY Terminal
(Map: http://www.nparks.gov.sg/nparks_cms/dis ... subcatid=1)
**1410-1430 Take ferry to Palua Ubin ($2/pax/one-way)
**1430-1500 Rent your bike ($5-12/bike/day)
**1500-1800 Discovery Palau Ubin
**1800-1830 Back to Changi Village
**1830-2000 Dinner at Chingi Village Food Centre

Hey Winnie, you're fab! thanks for organising a fun event yet again!

It's going to be a bit difficult, as there's rollerblading event on , on the same date!

I think couple of people like Jun, babykasim might join that one...I'm argh! both are good!!!!

Why don't you have Seafood Dinner in Ubin itself, before heading back to Singapore ? ? :? :roll:

It's nice & reasonable price. Can order for set meals too. :wink:

CGC stands for Canton Gathering Club. Am i correct, EPL? :o

We also welcome non-cantonese to join our event. :D

Bonnie, Just heard from Jun about that this morning. :o Its okay if you want to go roller blade. No obligation but wish you can join us for fun. Thot I would not organize another same one in the near future. :P :D

Hi Dounut, its a good idea but sorry i would get allergy after eating sea food. Most CGC know abt it. They dont mind if dinner w/o seafood. :P I had dinner at Changi Village before, the food was very nice. So you want to join us for cycling or dinner? :cool: :D

Biking on Pulau Ubin...... it sound great

I have not been there for ages and wonder if I still know how to balance on a bicycle :roll:

I went Ubin for cycling few months ago, not too bad. But Cik Jawa was high tide, so did not catch up with nature there. My friends were disappointed, I already saw it before, so it's fine with me.

Cycling @ Ubin is nice, might be able to join in, since I can't go Fly Kite that week. :x :roll:

yeah there's a rollerblading event on that day so :(

anyway, would love to join if you organise this in the future only when someone doesn't mind riding the tandem bike with me sitting behind ;)

ps. still waiting for the next ice skating as well ;)

ywh winny i bet if your other half is here (is he back yet? ) what's his nick? he would like to join the rollerblading instead :p oh actualy no, he's probably too good for this beginners' group!!!!!!

hmmm...does that mean Jun is going with you guys...argh dilema, can I do both :( must I choose...that I like both!
