Singapore Expats

have heard about wonderful buffet lunches in some hotels in spore on sundays.

have anyone experienced the same. any feedback- are they value for money, worth a try, spread........

I went to the Ritz-Carlton on Sunday - very good. The food was superb, especially the oysters and lobster, but also available - sushi, sashimi, foie gras, beef, curry etc and of course 50 different types of cheese. And don't forget - freeflow champagne (Moet & Chandon). The only complaint we had was that the price is the same whether you are drinking the champagne or not ($118+++). And then one of our non-drinkers asked for a coke and was told there would be a charge for it - needless to say after a little persuasion they waived the charge, but all in all a very pleasant experience.

how do we come to know about these. are they in the paper.

I had heard buffets are in the range of SGD 30-100.... know of any such ones

The Grand Hyatt does the best champagne I am told - I hae been there a couple of times, but can't remember - so it must be good!

I like the Ritz and Four Seasons. Grand Hyatt is good too. Try Prego, it has a great, much smaller brunch.
