Where's Good Whisky when u want one?

Does anyone know where I can find some good single malt whisky? Most of the bars I go to only serve the standard blends like Johnny Walker and Chivas. Some are a bit more on the ball and serve McCallans, Laphroaig or Glenmorangie. Where can I find other malts like Oban, Balvennie, etc?
If anyone can help me out with this info, it'll be great.

The Billiard room at Raffles used to have the best scotch selection. Not sur ethey still do. Worth checking it out though.

theyve opened up this new place at emerald hill called the whisky sumthing..im forgettin the name..its opp no 5..
small but looks pretty nice..
may b worth a visit..
