How to get to the Australian International school

We are about to move to Singapore from Sydney and were told by friends to live around the Bedok area which is near work. But how can we get from Tanah Marah or Bedok MRT to The Australian International School which is on Lorong Chuan St as our daughter will go there ?. There is no interchange to get from the EW line to NE line (where the school is nearby).

IS there a bus line we can take from the East Coast to Serangoon, from which a bus can take us to the school, which is 2 km away.

Thanks in advance

Probably a lot easier to call the school and ask them to come and collect your child from your place, especially if he/she is young.

Most schools have bus services that pick the kids up and take them to the school directly. They also have a "bus aunty" - who is a lady employed to sit with the kids on the bus to make sure they are sitting down and not killing each other  .

Otherwise, try this:

http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/

and:

http://www.smrt.com.sg/

These are the two bus companies used here. Won't make much sense without a map though. Actually, I'm pretty sure both sites have map options.

Just remember when your child takes the school transport it usually means waking up, up to an hour earlier but it is still the best bet mate.

At least you'll be assured she gets to school and all.
