Expanding Bubbles Topic: Loosing Interest & Blown off

Ok. To make it a bit more interesting, I am using Bubbles topic to expand it further. So you are introduced to this girl and she whispers in your ear "call me". You ping a few friends and get her email. You send an email and ask for a date. She responds positively and then....................................... its a WTF moment! You read your email and you read it again to see WTF you wrote and you just cant get it? So why was there no response?
Your mind goes:
a. she lost her email password.
b. she is out of town
c. she is sick
d. her office does not allow to check personal emails
e. she was drunk when she said yes on an EMAIL
f. she turned into a lesbian!
g. she became a monk
h. she is dead!
Notice how the pattern of thought starts with logical assumptions to downright ridiculous ones.
So anyone can extrapolate on how to build your own personal "GetBlown meter"?
PS: No! I am not the candidate who had to go through those thoughts. But then as if someone is going to believe my saying no it was not me! WTF??
So what are the ways to know that you have been blown off other than the usual excuses that have been given? And has anyone actually successfully turned a "blown" situation to a "happy ending".
WTF = What the F**K?

Can you fill in some gaps for me, I'm not sure I got the full thing...
1. You were introduced to her at __________
2. She whisppered call me but gave you no contact no?
3. You wrote an e-mail to her
4. She replied back and things look good.
5. Was there a second e-mail sent by you and that's the one that had no answer.
I'm no expert on this (has too be as I'm single at the time of this reply moment

), but I have to say that if answer to question was is a bar and the whisper happened late at night, good chances are she just got carried away by the moment, something graphically and quite clearly expressed by saint.
Cheers!!

Amigo!
I am not sure if it was a bar or not! I am just stating hypothetically considering you tend to meet a lot of people in bars, parties etc.
So I dont know the answer to those questions.

I was a little bit confused at first with this long-winded thing...
My answer:
she's pretty long-winded considering she doesn't know what she wants.Thus she's being
nice at first...
1. she's playing games and was having fun pulling your leg..(probably was having too much free time in the office)
2. she found a better 'candidate'... (can be found in many places)
3. she's just not into you.. (and i'm not referring to YOU)
or her pc breakdown all of a sudden! duh!
why not just move on ......

Yup, I go with Rose's No 2 - inbetween all the e-mailing/texting or whatever, she met someone she prefers more. Or there could be a family crisis which takes precidence (or however you spell that!).
loads of reasons, loads more fish in the sea.....as it were.

Oh, this will sound hard, and yes, we're so, so good at NOT believing it ourselves, when it happens to us.....(and YES, it happens to everyone, if they admit it or not).....but.....here's the simple truth.....
If someone doesn't get back to you (after a sensible time, say, two, three weeks) it is almost certainly, positively because they don't fancy you enough. Sorry, but that's it.
If someone wants to see you they'll jump through hoops, send texts, emails, phone, turn up, ask your mates to tell you, send letters, appear 'strangely' wherever you are....etc etc etc.
That's life. Like the title of the book....'They're Just Not Into You'.....
The other reasons you make up for them not replying...e.g..Being hurt, out of town, pc crash, family duties......all rubbish mostly. We all know this, but we'll all play along with the game.
Ah, life is Sugar Honey Iced Tea sometimes.

Still don't get it. Bubbles did you expand?

Or worse still, did you get loose and blow off? Bubbles tend to do that sometimes... just float randomly away.

Not sure I do, Cheekybeek....thought I was replying to someone who'd asked why their girl/guy was not getting back to them.....duh, now I'm confused.

I would have thought being blown off would result in a happy ending.

And that was one CONK on the head, conker! In retrospect, you are right.
Folks, my query is hypothetical. And not a desperate cry for help.

And yes, I have had my share of mis-steps to form the part of learning curve.
The standard ruse used by the ladies is ignore, look away, look for a friend, look for a drink, look for the loo etc. Anyother ways that you can do this?

Hmm, never was rejected so can't help you there, guru . . .
As for Bubbles gaining weight - leave her alone!
