Hey guys is there any place in singapore where there is an arrangement for watching soccer world cup matches on a big screen in open space.

plz do let me know if there is any, and also if anyone is interested in meeting out there and watching the matches with some drinks.

This idea is better than squeezing into the pubs, paying the over-priced alcohol, smoking the 2nd-hand cigarettes and enjoying the same thing. 8)
I like it.

Hi,
not soccer expert but I have seen some expat playing between esplanade and the parlment bulding, quite close to City Hall MRT. There's somme knid of green land with goals, maybe you can check there.
As I live far from downtown there's also some soccer playground close to the community center sometimes or between the HBS bulding.

thnx a lot for the reply dear, but im not asking for a place to play soccer, im asking for an open place with a big screen to watch soccer world cup matches, and obviously with lots of beer.

I think you have to look around, but the chances could be slim.
the reason is that most of the matches will be at night, even after midnight.

I think the cinemas can make money by showing live matches in their cinemas. surely a lot of people will pay to get in even at a movie's price.
