Hey guys Anyone knows any methods that can help improve the condition of short sightness? Or let the condition stabilized?

I had suffered frm short sightness since i was pri 4 i think. N the degree of my eyes are increasing n increasing! It hit a 500 now and im worried that it will continue increasing. It just seems so scary.

Will the foods that we eat help? If it will, what kind of foods? Or will the brand of contacts lenses help? (cos i heard from my friend that her short sightness had improved a little and she is wearing contact lenses like ALMOST THE WHOLE DAY - everyday.)

Ppl out there, if u know any other tips or methods, please help. THANKS a million!

Being myopic is a degenerative issue - it will not improve.

The most you can do is have lasik, otehr than that wear your glasses or contacts. It will not get better regardless of what you eat.

Yep I've also heard that contacts help to correct eyesight to a very small degree.

My degrees actually decreased by 50 after wearing contacts. And I wear it daily for work.

Lasik, it's so affordable now..approximately $2600 a pair. it can cure your astig too. Call the National eye centre.

I was seriously considering lasik. Did alot of research, and am not convinced.

So many complications could happen. And any ONE can be potentially harmful. The flap never heals. You could lose the flap in contact sports, or an accident. And to fix that, one would need a cornea transplant. Other things are dry eyes, under/over correction. The list goes on. Symptom can show up years after the procedure.

Make up your own minds.... or ask your doctor first..
