Snorkeling in Nearby Waters?

I am wondering if there are any good snorkeling places that are not too far from Singapore (within a boat's ride, or short distance from Singapore). For reference, Phuket would be too far.

Yes there are, for instance the
islands off the east coast of Johor

hi! i'm not an expert on snorkelling but here are some islands you can check:
1. Pulau Redang (Terengganu)
2. Pulau Sibu (Johor)
3. Pulau Perhentian (Pahang)
Pulau Sibu is the nearest. No guarantees here but I've heard good reviews about these places, the favourite being Redang. Thought I'd share...
