hi I just sign into my hotmail account, and saw this new window live mail beta which says has 2 GB of storage space. Thus, I upgraded my hotmail account to this window live mail beta but to my horror.............. all the important emails in my hotmail account are gone............
why is that so??? any remedy??

That's very odd, I don't remember it doing that to my emails. I know that you can go back to using the old MSN email but whether that goes back to your old account I don't know. Maybe you should send them an email.

It hasn't affected my emails. It's just a replacement for the UI.
Mind you, it's a horrible replacement. MS really needs to learn how to do proper AJAX coding. The new Yahoo Mail hits it spot-on.

Quite strange. I've been using Live for quite some time ( Trapped due to the 2GB size. I miss the good old Hotmail Experience). True MS need to learns a ton from competetors.

Yes, I am sure if you look in your hotmail account there is a button somewhere where it asks you if you wish to go back to the old version of hotmail.
