How to satisfy midnight munchies in the city?

Am looking for alternatives to lau pa sat.. am getting sick of the place!

Hooho lots of choice when come to foods!
City area
24hrs eating street near river valley/zion road - Malay food, Boon Tong kee chicken rice, zhi cha etc
Zion road hawker centre
Railway station - little malaysia in singapore
Bras Basah food centre
Beach Road Streamboat Street
Chinatown Hawker Centre (just moved next to Outram MRT)
Tiong Bahru Marktet
If you drive or don't mind to take a cab, lots more food in Geylang area

oh is the bras basah food court the one in bras basah complex itself? I've heard good things about the barbecued seafood there. It's 24 hrs right? Heard some colleagues rave about the minced pork noodles they had for lunch the other day too.
Thanks for all the choices! Prefer something in the city though cos am working (overworking) in the suntec area.

Try the Esplanade open air food centre.... and go for a breather after work...

yeah, have tried it, the food there isn't as good as I had hoped.. kinda disappointed

and is it just me, or is it kinda stuffy there?

i second joey's suggestion
railway station is lovely
food is typically prata, nasi and stuff
but ithe ambience is nice relaxed vibe to it
if you like the more indie hip crowd
go check out Arab street after midnite
lots of good small joints to check out
