best way to go to tio man

Hi Guys..
Wanna know from you guys.. what is the best, easy and affordable way to go to tio man island from here..
Wat bus should I take.. and from where..?? any inputs?

You wanted to go on your own?
How about hotel stay?
If you have a car, it's ok that you go there on your own.
Else, it's better that you book a package from here which includes everything. Remember, the ringgis island is not the best for snorkering.
Try to find out another island which is 45mins from the main island.

By Car - You can cross the border at woodlands, drive to Kota tingi and then to mersing. Park your car in mersing. Take a ferry to tioman
By Bus - cross border on 170. From larkin bus terminal take a bus to mersing. take ferry to tioman
Direct bus to mersing leaves from a terminus near Lavendar MRT. cost about 12 bucks one way.. Reaches mersing about 2-3 am. You can catch some sleep in one of the cheap hotels, and then take a ferry around 7-9 am.
