Computer Repair?

Can anyone out there recommend a good computer repair person who is reasonably priced? I have a computer (which is kind of used as a secondary one, so is not used very hard) in which I had inadvertently plugged into the outlet while it was set on 115v. Well, needless to say... poof! Luckily, the only damage was to the fan motor. I had the fan motor replaced and the computer worked great for about a year and then the fan motor died again (on it's own this time) and so I had it replaced.... Well, now a year later, it has happened again (on it's own). Any suggestions or recommendations???

When you are talking about the fan motor. Are you talking about the power supply?? Or one of the fans in the computer? If it's one of the fans, it shouldn't be a problem for your computer. otherwise, if it is the power supply. You may need a heftier power supply. As the system may be drawing too much power from the supply.

Power Supply

Maybe is the fan itself got preoblem ?
Do you mind to use my power supply ?
If you want more detials , you may reply or I will sent the photos to you ?
And what is your spect of the power supply ?
Mine is for Pentum 2 - 3 type

Sounds like it's nopt just the fan. If you've plugged it into 230 here when it was set to 115v it's more than likely gone pop and it's very difficult to put the magic smoke back in.
There's a slim chance the PSU ( power supply unit ) could be repaired but with the low cost of a new one it's not worth it.
They are pretty standardised size wise just make sure you note the wattage of the old one and get at least the same if not bigger
Look for some like 350 W on the PSU label. (350 watts)
The fact that this has happened acouple of times would suggest the current PSU is too small. so try a larger wattage rating.
Best bet is to take the old one with you to the shop. Not only to confirm the correct replacement but also that the new one has the same motherboard plugs on it.

Just a thought.
Maybe the first PSU died of old age and was replced with a unit with lower wattage and hence it's early demise
